1. General Policy
- Buyer and Seller Agreement: Refunds and returns are handled directly between buyers and sellers. Both parties are encouraged to resolve issues amicably.
- Platform Responsibility: SouqNass provides the platform for transactions but does not take responsibility for the quality or condition of items. Disputes should be resolved between buyers and sellers.
2. Seller Return Policy
- Return Policy Disclosure: Sellers must clearly state their return policy, including timeframes, conditions, and any applicable fees, in their product listings.
- No Return Policy: If a seller does not accept returns, this must be explicitly mentioned in the product listing. Buyers are encouraged to review this information before purchase.
- Condition of Returns: Returned items must be in the condition specified by the seller’s return policy.
3. Buyer Responsibilities
- Review Listings Carefully: Buyers must read product descriptions, photos, and return policies before purchasing.
- Contact Seller: In case of issues, buyers should contact the seller directly to request a return or refund.
- Timely Action: Buyers must initiate return requests within the timeframe specified in the seller’s return policy.
4. Disputes and Mediation
- Escalation to SouqNass: If a buyer and seller cannot reach an agreement, either party may escalate the issue to SouqNass for mediation.
- Mediation Process: SouqNass will review the transaction, communication, and evidence provided by both parties to make a fair recommendation. However, SouqNass does not guarantee resolution in favor of either party.
5. Refunds
- Seller Responsibility: Refunds are issued directly by sellers. Buyers should confirm refund arrangements with the seller.
- Refund Timeframes: Sellers should process refunds promptly, typically within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
- Platform Fees: Any platform fees (e.g., commissions or listing fees) are non-refundable.
6. Exceptions
- Non-Returnable Items: Certain items may not be eligible for returns, including:
- Perishable goods.
- Custom-made or personalized items.
- Items marked as final sale.
- Damaged or Misrepresented Items: If an item is damaged or significantly misrepresented, the buyer may be eligible for a refund despite the seller’s no-return policy.
